DQC Mission Statement
The Dupo Quarterback Club is a non-profit, youth sports organization whose aim is to cultivate good sportsmanship, fair play, and team work, while emphasizing the core values of discipline, respect, honesty, and integrity. Mental and physical growth are encouraged through trained instruction and safe competition.
By providing a safe, fun environment, we will maintain a youth athletic program that shapes character; creates role models; and positively impacts athletes, coaches, volunteers, and our community. We will continually develop and demonstrate the highest level of character, discipline, and leadership required to succeed in both sports and life.
The Dupo Quarterback Club has a commitment to diversity and inclusion and welcomes involvement from all who value our mission and is committed to ensuring that all area youth are afforded the pivotal opportunity for team sports participation, regardless of socioeconomic background.
DQC Rookie Ball
Our program is an internal program for kids to learn the fundamentals of Baseball/Softball for for kids ages 4 to 6 (grades pre-k thru 1st). Coaches will teach throwing, catching, base running, and batting while the kids begin hitting off a tee and works on moving to hitting off of a coach pitching. This program has multiple teams in which the teams play two games a week again each other internally. This helps prepare kids for joining District 19 play at the 7 yr old (2nd grade) level.
